Many urban legends contain factual information about supernatural powers and factual ideas. Urban legends are stories of obscure origin with factual and false information. Some urban legends have little or no factual information that supports the evidence. Urban legends usually spread spontaneously in varying forms and often have elements of humor, moralizing, or humorous subjects. In this essay you will here about many urban legends. The urban legends will be fact not fiction.

The first urban legend I am going to talk about is” calls from beyond”. A man named Charles E. Peck had died. Charles Peck was 49 yrs old. Peck lived in San Fernando Valley, California. Peck was a father, he had 2 kids. He had a boy and a girl. Peck died while he was in a train crash. A crash between two trains carrying 225 passengers collided. Peck was on that train. Shortly after the crash Peck’s cell phone started to place calls to his family. His family members including his children, wife, and parents had got a call from his number. When they answered the call they heard static. This made them believe that he was still alive. But he didn’t survive it a pole from the train crashed through his skull.

The next urban legend is “Beheaded for Trouble”. In December 1993 Germany there was a killing. The man name is Stephen Schap. Schap had caught his wife cheating on him with another man. Schap found out who the man was. Everyday he caught his pregnant wife cheating on him. He had followed the man to his work and to his home. He had found out where he lived at and where his family live at. Everyday he came home and acted like everything was normal. He had also found out that it wasn’t his child. His doctor had told him that he couldn’t have any kids. So he knew that it was the man that his wife cheated on wife. At the hospital where his wife was giving labor he had brought his head to the hospital. He had cut his head off. He followed him to his home. He had killed him and cut his head off. He brought up to the hospital and gave it to his wife. When his wife saw the head she had a heart attack. She was crying because the father of her child’s head was on her hospital bed. He was caught and he is in prison.

There is another urban legend about a suffocation incident. In 2003 the Department of Homeland Security commended that the people seal there homes. They thought that it would be a threat of a germ warfare. They told everyone to seal there homes so they will be protected. 3 people sealed there homes and suffocated themselves. The three people sealed there home with duct tape and plastic. The person involved was found in there home by family members. A mother and her two kids were killed by this incident.

Pictures that Lie

These photos are picture that have no blemishes are marks on there face . There is no wrinkles or any type of marks. All these women are thin. In real life these women wouldn't be that then.Pictures like these are portrayed in the media as everybody but it only equals less then half of the women in America. The five pictures was a black male that wasn't thin. In the edited one he was thinner then before. The next one is a white female that was heavy. The edited version was thin. Then the there was another white female that face had got redid. These photos and more are not the truth. The photo that stuck out to me is the one with the fake picture. The man composed the photo so that it was a totally different person.

Examples about how media violence is played out in real life are shootings and other killings in the world. Some things that are in the media and can give influence in the crimes that happen today. An example of one is a kidnapping incident, which a person was held captive for a long period of time. This is an example of media violence through movies. There are all types of movies with kidnapping and sored captive. Another example of how media violence gives influence through the media is the lyrics. When people hear violent lyrics they could act on it. An final example of media violence through video games can be a great motivator. Video games have a great deal of violence that looks very real. But people can use that to do a crime.
